Meet Apura Farms founder, Susan
A Florida-based serial entrepreneur, Susan Mussaffi has founded multiple restaurants and food-related ventures. Although she has always had a passion for food, she took a few different career paths before focusing on her love of cooking.
As a tribute to her late husband and his Sephardic heritage, Susan’s first food partnership began with a local bagel shop to create a line of handmade gourmet breads called Motzi Challah that were sold throughout the New York and New Jersey area.
Years later, inspired by the philosopher Pythagoras -- whose followers adhered to a raw, plant-based diet – Susan decided to use her food and business savvy to promote healthier, cleaner, plant-based nutrition. In November 2014, she opened Apura Juicery and Vegan Kitchen in Boca Raton. Her success led to the creation of Apura Farms™ and its sustainably sourced, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, plant-based meat replacement mixes. Today Susan is proud to offer Apura Farms’ nutritious and delicious meal solutions to vegans, flexitarians, and anyone who wants to join the clean, conscious eating movement.
I hope you enjoy!
